Meet Chef EJ
Though no formal training at first, she has worked her way through the culinary world. Starting at a locally renowned bakery in Fort Worth, TX, Stir Crazy, she advanced to run their seminal location, setting menus and creating recipes for both sweet and savory items. She moved from there into a more formal culinary setting with Omni in both Fort Worth, TX and Asheville, NC, working her way up to the rank of Sous Chef at Sunset Terrace at the Grove Park Inn. EJ has a passion for food that doesn’t just taste good but that’s crafted with intention and creativity.
The Story of Mountain Thyme Meals
When the pandemic first started, EJ was furloughed from work at the Omni Grove Park Inn. During this time, when the world didn’t know what would happen or when restaurants would reopen, she put her skills to use and started a meal delivery service from scratch. Mountain Thyme Meals was born.
Now several years later, she is excited to be able to offer meals regularly for busy families and individuals who want a healthy and delicious meal without the guilt of fast food or takeout. While she loves tailoring menus to families, she also enjoys the opportunity to cater special events and parties and make them beyond memorable.
